Thank You, St. Jude
I quit my job this past February.
I was offered a job in February, but it did not come through. I had hinted that I didn’t set out to be a teacher, and I wrote a post on it: Teacher by Default. For approximately 8 weeks, I lived on my savings; I job searched like if my life depended on it, and I read a lot, but I wrote very little.
As of last Thursday, I am employed again.
I a customer service representative at a great small company. It is only a temporary job, but I am grateful to be working again and to have a source of income again.
